Has A Group Of Black Men Ever Burned Down A White U.S. Town?

This is what was left of Greenwood, Black Wall Street, Oklahoma after the 1921 Race Riot

That was the question that popped into my head as I sat watching the remembrance, today, of the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921.

Has a bunch of Black men ever gathered together after a young Black girl accused a White man of raping her and burned down the White town where he lived?

The answer, of course, was No!

Before, I move on, I’d like to let all of you know that the young Black man in that elevator with the young White woman had been lured there on the supposed offer of expanding his Black business into the White Tulsa business zones. I seriously doubt that with such an enormous business proposition at stake, he took the time to rape a White woman in an elevator. He probably died not even remembering she was in the elevator.

Besides Greenwood, jealous angry White men also burned these Black towns:
